With decades of business success, we bring deep experience in providing support and capital to assist operators with their strategic growth plans and generate long-term value.

Guided by a generational investment philosophy, we are patient investors and provide our own capital with the ability to hold for the long term. We don’t define our return based on short-term private equity metrics and our investment horizon is undefined. Several of our investments have been held for more than 25 years, which allows us to take a flexible, enduring approach to value creation across both private and public markets.

We seek to participate meaningfully as investors, partners, owners, or operators in a diverse range of businesses and real estate opportunities. We are particularly interested in companies that are financially sound, possess strong leadership, and offer clear opportunities for operational improvement and growth.

While we are generally not active in early-stage or venture investing, we are open to businesses across many industries with strong established fundamentals and scalable potential. For private investments, we typically seek companies with annual earnings between $5 - $15 million, located in Western Canada and the Western US.

In addition to control equity positions, we are willing to consider minority equity stakes as well as structured investments—such as preferred equity and various forms of debt—depending on the needs of our partners. Our approach is opportunistic and agile, always grounded in our ability to add value through strategic, financial, and governance expertise.
